【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60318describesanoccluded-earsimulatorintendedforthemeasurementofinsertearphonesinthefrequencyrangefrom100Hzto10000Hz.Itissuitableforairconductionhearingaidsandearphones,coupledtotheearbymeansofearinsertse.g.earmouldsorsimilardevices.Theoccluded-earsimulatorisalsosuitableasthebasisforanextensionintendedtosimulatethecompleteearcanalandtheouterear(forinstanceinheadsimulators).Theoccluded-earsimulatorsimulatestheacoustictransferimpedancefortheoccludednormaladulthumanear.However,itdoesnotsimulatetheleakagebetweenanearmouldandahumanearcanal;therefore,theresultsobtainedwiththeoccluded-earsimulatormaydeviatefromtheperformanceofaninsertearphoneonarealear,especiallyatlowfrequencies.Moreover,largeperformancevariationsamongindividualearswilloccurwhichshouldbeconsideredwhenusingtheearsimulator.Above10kHzthedevicedoesnotsimulateahumanear,butcanbeusedasanacousticcoupleratadditionalfrequenciesupto16kHz.Below100Hz,thedevicehasnotbeenverifiedtosimulateahumanear,butcanbeusedasanacousticcoupleratadditionalfrequenciesdownto20Hz.
